Press Release October 23, 2006 IGT acquires Novomatic intellectual property for multi-station games (Reno, Nevada - October 23, 2006) - IGT (NYSE: IGT) announced today that it has acquired certain intellectual property from Novomatic AG, the Austrian-based global gaming company, for use in IGT's M-P Series™ multi-station gaming products. The two companies also signed a supplier agreement that will make certain Novomatic roulette equipment parts available to IGT for its new roulette product.
