AGI presented news & highlights at G2E 2006

Austrian Gaming Industries GmbH (AGI), the 100 percent subsidiary of Novomatic Group of Companies, reports very positive results from this year’s G2E in Las Vegas.

AGI’s attendance at this year’s G2E was strongly focussed on expansion with a broad product range, more company representatives than ever before and an extended booth space, resulting in large crowds at the AGI booth.

The AGI booth was an extremely busy place with the innovative multi-player platform Novo Unity™ at the centre of interest. AGI demonstrated its many advantages with a comprehensive live installation consisting of Novo Multi-Roulette™, Novo TouchBet® Live Roulette and the ultimate graphic information display Novo Wheel Info Display™ shown on additional plasma screens. As the world’s most flexible multi-player platform the server-based Novo Unity™ offers a new ease of use and gaming convenience for both players and operators. Also based on the Novo Unity™ multi-player platform, the Novo Multi-Table Roulette™ offers a new freedom of choice for casino guests; operators can interconnect any combination of up to three Novomatic Roulettes allowing the player to switch tables anytime within their current credits.

Visitors also used the opportunity to try and test various brand-new and exciting video reel games. The no-limits racing game Reel Rally™, the retro-styled 5-line 3-reel Threee!™ and the hottest single-player Roulette game in the galaxy, the gripping new Universe Roulette™, received great attention. With its hot racing atmosphere and innovative game design, Reel Rally™ proved to be a special treat for video-slot enthusiasts. Fans of the classic reel-machine were fascinated by the thrilling 5-line (fixed) 3-reel video game Threee!™.

As a sneak preview to January’s ICE exhibition in London, AGI also allowed sneak glances at the new Duo-Vision™! This new cabinet combines the advantages of streamline dimensions with the maximum comfort of 2 wide TFT-screens and a 16:10 panorama view. It has been designed to tap into the full potential of the new Coolfire™ II platform and will set the standard for a new era of AGI game design.

Jens Halle, Managing Director AGI, is pleased with the results: „The G2E was once more a great show. Apart from the fact that the November date is rather late and in some respects too close to the ICE in London – especially for European exhibitors – it was a very successful show and met our expectations in every respect. The G2E is always an important opportunity to present our products for the US and Latin American market, where we are constantly expanding.”
