AGI’s Gaminator® Increases its Presence across Africa

The recent addition of eight new AGI Gaminator® slant top machines in the New Africa Casino in Dar-es Salaam, Tanzania brought great excitement to guests at this busy hotel and casino property. Following AGI Africa’s successful installation of the slant top version of the Gaminator® in La Palm Casino in Accra, Ghana, the operator KaiRo International did not hesitate in bringing this top-performing product to the eastern shores of Africa. Tolga Tirpan, General Manager at the New Africa Casino, said: ”We hinted to our customers about the upcoming arrival of our new purchases and the anticipation was quite obvious as all of our customers are huge Novomatic fans”.

AGI installed the hugely successful Multi-Gaminator® slant tops including a special selection of exciting games mixes with each machine featuring up to 10 top-performing AGI video slot games.

Tirpan adds: “The multi-game technology has enabled us to provide more variety amid our machines rather then relying on one game per machine. This has enhanced our customer turnout to great proportions. The slant-top cabinet style is extremely attractive and comfortable at the same time with the Multi-Screen Technology - MST®, providing user-friendly interaction that also adds considerably to player comfort.”

Rolph Gieske, Sales and Marketing Manager AGI Africa: “KaiRo International has always been a good and loyal customer of AGI Africa. The addition of the eight new Multi-Gaminator® slant tops has further increased our presence at the New Africa Casino and proved that AGI machines remain favorites among their guests.”

Another recent installation was also celebrated in great style. At The Ridge Casino in Witbank, South Africa, AGI Africa hosted a big promotion to celebrate the installation of five Multi-Gaminators® and two Reels’& more™ upright video slot machines.

The casino invited its customers to compete in a special slot tournament which took place in several heats on the new machines. With a buy-in of R50 sponsored by the casino, guests could participate in 3-minute heats and keep the credits they accumulated throughout the contest. The contestant with the highest credits at the end of each heat also received a prize sponsored by AGI Africa.

With a choice of either 8 or 10 different video games to choose from on each of the Multi-Gaminators®, customers were able to test the extreme flexibility of the machine. The possibility to switch from one video game to another without having to leave the machine was just one element of the very positive feedback received from the customers. “For the duration of the 2 days that I was visiting The Ridge Casino, the AGI machines were being played at all times. I witnessed guests actually queuing for the best seats at these machines”, said Sue-Marie Swart from AGI Africa.
