Novo Texas Hold’em Poker™ and Novo TouchBet® Live-Black Jack are the first products based on the innovative Novo Unity™ II multi-player platform. THE NEW MULTI-PLAYER PLATFORM The two new multi-player products presented at ICE 2008 are based on AGI’s new gaming platform that opens a new era of gaming products. Novo Unity™ II combines the familiar advantages of the Novo Unity™ platform such as maximum stability, security and low maintenance requirements with new and innovative features and enormous technological perspectives for the future of gaming. The new multi-player games are characterized by realistic 3D-graphics, dramatically increased game speed and ultimate operator flexibility. THE NEW MULTI-PLAYER PRODUCTS Last year’s sneak ICE preview gave just a brief look at AGI’s Poker concept with a prototype multi-player product. The feedback was enthusiastic and supportive for further product evolution. For 2008 the company presents the long-awaited finished product: Novo Texas Hold’em Poker™! This table offers the hugely popular Texas Hold’em Poker game in a highly attractive fully automated 10-player configuration. Novo Texas Hold’em Poker™ incorporates a complete poker installation consisting of ten player stations and one 57” centre TFT-display embedded in an elegant table. Each of the individual player boxes is equipped with a high-resolution touch-screen monitor in 16:10 screen format and cash handling devices for TITO, banknote accep-tance or cashless systems. The monitors are embedded level with the beautifully handcrafted Brazilian rosewood table and can be electronically tilted to ensure maximum player comfort. The huge high-resolution centre screen displays the complete layout of a traditional Poker table with the individual player bets in the pot and the community cards at the centre. All relevant information is seen from each of the player positions, providing a detailed 3D-outline of the game at all times. The individual touchscreens also show the complete table with all players’ bets and the community cards as well as the individual Poker hand face-down. As in the real card game, players will cover their cards with their hands to conceal them from other’s glances and reveal them in private by tapping on the touchscreen. This area of the touchscreen is additionally laminated with a specially coated film that prevents sideways glances. Once the players have decided upon their further strategy they can either call, raise or fold on their touchscreens. The second brand new and exciting AGI multi-player innovation at ICE 2008 is the Novo TouchBet® Live-Black Jack! This multi-player Black Jack game allows operators to offer the internationally popular and fast casino card game to up to 250 players simultaneously. All payout percentages can easily be configured according to regulatory or operator requirements. The game is played on individual touchscreen player terminals. A live dealer draws the cards from an electronic card shoe and over the integrated card reader that recognizes their values and immediately transmits the information to the individual player terminal displays. This display also offers players detailed information about their peers’ player behaviour in the so-called Score Board. It provides a minute account of the players cards in the game and the current game events. AGI offers the Novo TouchBet® Live-Black Jack in two fascinating versions, each selectable by the operator: Common Dealer Hands and Variant Dealer Hands. In both versions, all players start with the same two initial cards and an identical first dealer card. In the Common Dealer Hands version all players compete against the same dealer hand, while in the Variant Dealer Hands version each guest plays on his own against the dealer.
