ADMIRAL: Player protection measures receive international recognition

In April, the Global Regulatory Awards 2018 were presented for the second time in London. Dr. Monika Poeckh-Racek, CEO of NOVOMATIC’s subsidiary ADMIRAL Casinos & Entertainment AG, came second behind the listed Canadian company The Stars Group in the category “Outstanding Individual Contribution to Responsible Gaming in a Customer Facing Role” for this internationally acclaimed award.
London/Gumpoldskirchen, April 30, 2018 (OTS) - Responsible gaming and compliance management are essential prerequisites for operators and suppliers to operate and act successfully in the gaming industry. This was the central message of the Global Regulatory Awards Gala 2018 organized by Gambling Compliance in London.
Second place for the “Outstanding Contribution for Responsible Gambling Award 2018” went to Dr. Monika Poeckh-Racek, CEO of NOVOMATIC’s subsidiary ADMIRAL Casinos & Entertainment AG. This award honored her more than 10 years with NOVOMATIC and as CEO of ADMIRAL, where Poeckh-Racek is responsible for the areas of law, authorities, human resources and responsible gaming, among others. In this role, she has introduced extremely effective player protection measures and continuously expanded the applied player protection program.
Poeckh-Racek established a corporate prevention program for the NOVOMATIC Group. It includes cooperation with renowned institutions and experts in order to enable comprehensive employee training, the development of innovative access systems and supporting expert counseling services for customers.

With this annual award, Gambling Compliance honors teams and individuals who have found a special way of dealing with the constantly changing regulatory framework in daily life. This includes measures in the areas of data protection, anti-corruption, corporate responsibility, player protection and money laundering prevention. The awards are subject to a strict evaluation process, which is monitored by an independent jury of recognized industry experts.
