Green light for NOVOMATIC investment in Casinos Austria AG

Gumpoldskirchen, 14 December 2016 (OTS) - NOVOMATIC, Europe's leading gaming technology company, announced that today's resolution of the Annual General Meeting of Casinos Austria AG (CASAG), according to which the conditions precedent for the acquisition of the shares of MTB private foundation in the Casinos Austria AG in the amount of 17.2 percent have been met, paves the way for an effective takeover of the shares.

NOVOMATIC further announces that it has transferred an indirect share of Österreichische Lotterien GmbH (ÖLG) amounting to 11.56 percent to the Austrian Gaming Holding a.s. belonging to the SAZKA Group and that it thereby remains a shareholder in ÖLG with a total share of less than 25 percent.
